Study a pathway programme provided by Navitas in collaboration with many top universities in the UK – If you didn’t make the grades for direct entry into Undergraduate Year One and Postgraduate programmes, these International Year One, University Foundation Courses and Pre Master’s will help you bridge that gap!

• Guaranteed Progression: The majority of these pathway programmes come with a “Guaranteed Progression”. This means that students will be guaranteed a place in their target programme as long as their meet the internal progression requirements – you won’t be competing for places with external applicants!
• Progression Options: Nowadays there are fewer subjects that don’t come with a pathway option than those that do! These highly diverse progression degrees include Business Studies, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Computer Sciences, Architecture, Urban Planning, Law, Psychology, Engineering, International Relations and many more, allowing students to study a subject they’re truly passionate about.
• Study Location: Most pathway programmes are taught at a dedicated teaching centre within university campus, where students have access to campus facilities and are free to join clubs and societies within the university. Some International Year One programmes even arrange students to study alongside undergraduate year one students in some modules!

Swansea University^#37

With hugely improved student satisfaction and graduate prospect, Swansea University in 2019 broke into the top 30 for the first time in UK university ranking, becoming the top university in Wales! Traditionally the School of Engineering is the most celebrated school in Swansea University. In the latest research assessment exercise (REF 2021), 90% of researches in engineering were rated as “World Leading” and “Internationally Excellent”. In subject rankings, Materials Technology, Chemical Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering are all ranked within top 25 in the UK – reflecting outstanding performance in both teaching and scientific researches.

Manchester Metropolitan University^#38

Based in the vibrant and multicultural city of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester Met) is home to one of the UK’s largest and oldest art schools. With over 180 years of history, Manchester School of Art is long-established and currently teaches around 3,700 students. Graduates are widely employed in the art and design circle in the UK, including Thomas Heatherwick the designer of the UK pavilion at the Shanghai Expo 2010, L. S. Lowry the legendary British painter, as well as graphic designer Peter Saville.

Manchester Met offers a diverse range of art, design and fashion courses that include Fine Art, Graphic Design, Performance, Fashion Design (menswear, womenswear and sportswear), Architecture, Product Design, Fashion Business, Design Innovation, Illustration, Textile and many more.

Keele University^#43

Located in rural area of the Midlands, Keele University enjoys the largest university campus in the UK, which occupies over 600 acres of beautiful parkland, and is the largest campus university in UK. There is a strong emphasis of interdisciplinary learning and a wide range of interdisciplinary programmes (such as Sociology & International Relations, Chemistry & Environmental Science), which is suitable for students with diverse interest. Another emphasis lies in education for Sustainability issues, which is incorporated into formal curriculum through elective modules, allowing students from all disciplines the opportunities to deepen the knowledge in the area. Currently ranked the 43^rd in the UK, Keele University excels in Medicine, Pharmacy and other medical-related subjects, such as Physiotherapy, Radiography and Nursing. In the 2020/21 academic year, Keele University also opened its school of Veterinary Medicine, together with Harper Adams University.

University of Plymouth^#58

Situated near the coast of South West England, University of Plymouth was originally founded in 1862 as the School of Navigation. Benefiting from its geographical advantages and unique heritage, the University enjoys a renowned reputation in Ocean Science and its related disciplines. Apart from that, Building & Surveying is another key strength of the University, alongside its noteworthy programmes in Medical and Health Science, as well as Psychology.

As the largest training provider for healthcare professionals in the southwest of England, University of Plymouth is one of the few Modern Universities that provide training across Medicine, Dentistry, and Allied Health professions like Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Dietetics and more. It’s also opening its Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programmes to international students from the 2026/27 academic year – one of the very few universities in the UK that currently do so!

University of Hertfordshire^#67

Located just north of London, University of Hertfordshire is a modern university granted full university status in 1992. It’s known for its New Media Arts, Aerospace Engineering, Physiotherapy, Radiography and other Allied Health subjects. In 2026/27 academic year, the University will open its own Medical School, which will be open to international students.

Based in Hatfield, the historic centre of British aviation manufacturing, the Faculty of Engineering provides a wide range of options in the area which include Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Technology, etc. Some of these incorporate Pilot studies programmes that offer as many as 400 hours of flying practices, enabling students to qualify for the National Private Pilot’s License when they graduate. Alumni of University of Hertfordshire are widely employed by leading manufacturers in the field such as BAE Systems (one of the world’s largest defense and aerospace manufacturer), Rolls-Royce (the world’s second largest airplance engine manufacturer) and include Frank Ogilvie the deputy chief designer of the Airbus A380.

In Creative Arts, University of Hertfordshire was named the 14^th best Creative Media & Entertainment School in the world by the Rookies (an international award for new creative talents), as well as the 32^nd best animation school in the world by Animation Career Review. Students of the School of Creative Arts are offered a wide range of options that include Animation, Digital Media Arts, Special Effects, Music Technology, as well as other more common options such as Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Photography and more!
