Cardiff Sixth Form College is a top independent sixth form college with a main campus in Cardiff – the capital of Wales – and a new campus in Cambridge which is established in the 2022/23 academic year. It has been the top independent school in the UK for A-level results over the past 15 years, occupying the no. 1 spot in league tables for 13 times during the period. Every year about 30% of graduates would progress to University of Oxford, Cambridge or medical schools!

2026 is no exception, in which the College saw 91% of exam entries graded at A*-A and 99% at A*-B – as well as an impressive A* rate of 58%, which is the third highest result in the College’s history! Of 182 students in the class of 2026, 50 graduates gained entry into medical schools, studying Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. Ten graduates continued their education in Oxford and Cambridge University, while 49 made it to UCL, LSE and Imperial College. Biomedical Sciences: Recognized Qualification for Biomedical Scientists / Medical Laboratory Technicians

In order to become a Biomedical Scientist in the UK ^{(known as Medical Laboratory Technician in Hong Kong)}, it’s required that students complete a Biomedical Science degree accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). With a history spanning over 470 years, Oundle School is a prestigious independent school favoured by prominent families in the UK, including the descendants of economist John Maynard Keynes and biologist Charles Darwin. When people mention British boarding schools, they usually refer to independent schools in the UK that come with boarding provision, of which there are over 400 across the country. Many of these schools have histories of over a hundred, or sometimes hundreds of years. Inheriting a long tradition on whole person education, they aim to cultivate highly valuable qualities such as sense of duty, self-discipline, taste, resilience and perseverance through sports, music and arts, extracurricular activities and a structured boarding life. Such is a environment that enables students to develop independence while learning to be part of a team and a community, making it ideal for students lucky enough to have the opportunities to study abroad in their secondary, or event primary school years.

In the seminar, our education consultants will draw on their own study abroad experience and introduce the unique advantages and culture of British boarding schools. The seminar is suitable for parents of primary and secondary school students and students themselves.

Bede’s School is a unique all-through boarding school near the coastal town of Eastbourne. Undergraduate Year One in Top 30 UK universities normally require 443 to 5*55 in HKDSE, with subject-specific requirement depending on your choices of programmes. If students fall short of such requirement, they can progress through International Year One or University Foundation Courses. These programmes accept entry at 444 to 222 in HKDSE and enable qualified students to progress onto Year 2 and Year 1 of an undergraduate programme in Top 30 UK universities respectively. University of St Andrews runs its own pathway programmes, which is open to F.5 students only. All students who have attempted a public exam are required to apply directly to undergraduate. Under this special arrangement, F.5 students can complete their degree in University of St Andrews within five years if they go for the International Year One: Science programmes – the same length as studying a foundation and a degree in other English universities.

Located just north of London, University of Hertfordshire is a modern university granted full university status in 1992. It’s known for its New Media Arts, Aerospace Engineering, Physiotherapy, Radiography and other Allied Health subjects. In 2026/27 academic year, the University will open its own Medical School, which will be open to international students.

Based in Hatfield, the historic centre of British aviation manufacturing, the Faculty of Engineering provides a wide range of options in the area which include Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Technology, etc. Some of these incorporate Pilot studies programmes that offer as many as 400 hours of flying practices, enabling students to qualify for the National Private Pilot’s License when they graduate. Alumni of University of Hertfordshire are widely employed by leading manufacturers in the field such as BAE Systems (one of the world’s largest defense and aerospace manufacturer), Rolls-Royce (the world’s second largest airplance engine manufacturer) and include Frank Ogilvie the deputy chief designer of the Airbus A380.

In Creative Arts, University of Hertfordshire was named the 14^th best Creative Media & Entertainment School in the world by the Rookies (an international award for new creative talents), as well as the 32^nd best animation school in the world by Animation Career Review. Students of the School of Creative Arts are offered a wide range of options that include Animation, Digital Media Arts, Special Effects, Music Technology, as well as other more common options such as Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Photography and more!
