d’Overbroeck’s College is a top day and boarding school in the city of Oxford, which is consistently ranked within top 100 among independent schools for A-levels results and therefore very popular among local and international students. There are about 700 students in d’Overbroeck’s, in which about 400 of them are sixth form students. It’s one of the few schools in Oxford that comes with a sixth form in such scale. In recent years (2020-2021), about 88% to 90% of A-levels grades are awarded A*-B, with an impressive A*-B rate of 88% in 2022. 44 of the 174 graduates from the class of 2022 achieved straight A*/A!
Students joining d’Overbroeck’s for Year 9 to Year 11 will join d’Overbroeck’s international school, where they will study in smaller classes (10 students per class on average), to make the adaptation into the new mode of learning easier. After completing their IGCSE in Year 11, students can apply to continue their GCE A-levels in d’Overbroeck’s, or in other boarding schools in the UK. In sixth form, students will study with day students in d’Overbroeck’s sixth form.
