University of Wolverhampton is one of the polytechnics that were granted university status in 1992. Its main campus is located in central Wolverhampton, with other campuses in nearby towns like Walsall and Telford, which are all about 30 to 60 minutes from Birmingham. The University has maintained relatively lower barrier of entry and welcomes applications to final year of undergraduate from sub-degree graduates. Nursing and Allied Health is the largest subject group in University of Wolverhampton. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Midwifery and Podiatry are all open to international students.
