Mirroring London’s character, DLD College London is the most multicultural campus with students coming from over 50 countries and regions. It also offers the widest range of subject choices in GCE A-levels and foundation pathways, making sure that there is something for everyone even with such a diverse student body.
Last but not least, Abbey College Manchester has the largest number of British students. And with such as a strong football culture in the city of Manchester, there is also a Football Training programme, through which students enjoy daily football training alongside their usual timetable.
Medicine Preparation & Pre-Degree Diploma in Abbey College Cambridge
Neighbouring Homerton College and the Department of Education of University of Cambridge, Abbey College Cambridge is strongest among three campuses for its GCE A-levels results. Many of Cambridge’s students are high achievers who aim to get into medical schools, as well as University of Oxford and University of Cambridge! Abbey College Cambridge, therefore, offers a Pre-Degree Diploma to provide extra learning and application support, as well as interview training:
- Introduction to UK medical training and working as a doctor in the UK
- Medical school personal statement workshops
- Medical school interview practices
- Extra study skills training (such as research, presentation skills, etc)
- Q&A sessions with former Abbey College Cambridge students who are now working as doctors
In the past two years (2022-2023), students from Abbey College Cambridge achieved impressive GCE A-levels A*-B rates that ranged from 80% to 81% and are most outstanding in Mathematics and Sciences. The majority of the A-levels subjects taught in Cambridge are facilitating subjects such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, English Literature, etc, alongside a small option of more practical subjects, such as Business Studies, Art & Design.
