Wrekin College is an “all-through” boarding and day school in Shropshire in West Midlands, which is about 40 minutes away from Birmingham. Set in a campus of over 100 acres, Wrekin College provides extensive games fields and beautiful ground and is also known as “The School in the Garden”. Sports and art education are main focuses and investment in facilities is huge. There is an elite Athletic Development Programme, as well as extensive facilities such as sport hall, swimming pool and extensive playing fields.

In terms of university destinations, in the past two years (2023-2024) two students were admitted to University of Oxford. Other popular destinations include Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Loughborough. Every year a good number of students from Wrekin College would go on to study Geography, Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) and Sport-related subjects, therefore an especially good option for students interested in these areas!
