Westbourne School

Located in Wales’s capital city Cardiff, Westbourne School is a small-scale boarding school with excellent academic results, which primarily teaches the IBDP in sixth form. Currently there are about 380 students in Westbourne School, in which over 70% are British students. It’s named the IB School of the Year by Sunday Times in 2019 and ranked among the best co-educational IB schools in the UK. The overall IB average score was 37.3 in 2025. Two of the best-performing students were able to achieve 43 and 44 points and progressed to study Economics & Management in King’s College London and Medicine in a France. In addition to standard curriculum, Westbourne School also provides a 1-Year GCSE programme, which is a popular bridging programme before overseas students joined mainstream classes, suitable for F.4 students in Hong Kong.

Off-Shore Campuses in Asia-Pacific: Westbourne College Singapore and Westbourne College Sydney

Westbourne School currently has two off-shore campuses in Singapore and Sydney, which also follow the GCSE and IBDP curriculum. The three campuses work together on exchange trips, as well as academic collaborations and knowledge-sharing that benefit students aimed at top universities in different countries.
