University of Lincoln

Located in the historic city of Lincoln in the Midlands, University of Lincoln is one of the polytechnics that were granted university status in 1992. With a strong focus on practical learning and employability, many of Lincoln’s programmes are run in partnership with industry partners. These include postgraduate programmes in Journalism, Creative Writing & Publishing with The Guardian and Thomson Reuters Foundation. The School of Engineering has Siemens’s support since its foundation and is currently one of the only five engineering schools in the UK that hold the Siemens Global Principal Partners status. In Medical-related subjects, its new Medical School in partnership with University of Nottingham officially opened in 2019/20. The University also offers Nursing, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy – all three offer the option of Postgraduate (Conversion) programmes that can lead to professional qualifications for graduates from other disciplines!
