University of Dundee (Architecture)

Globally ranked the 272^nd (QS 2019) and the 27^th in the UK, University of Dundee is ranked among the Top 20 in many academic disciplines, including Architecture, Art & Design, Civil Engineering, Education, Town Planning and many more!

While undergraduate degrees are usually four years in duration under the Scottish education system, many programmes in University of Dundee allow advanced entry into Year 2, if students get good enough grades. In addition to that, University of Dundee also offers a 3-year LLB law degree and a 5-year master’s in Architecture (ie. combining a 3-year undergraduate and a 2-year postgraduate degree in Architecture).

In Biomedical Science, University of Dundee runs an undergraduate degree in collaboration with National University of Singapore (NUS), in which students can spend up to 18 months studying in NUS – which is itself one of Asia’s finest universities!

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD)

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD), University of Dundee is a century-old art school in Scotland. Ranked the 10^th in Art & Design, the College is one of the finest art schools in the UK, reputable for its excellence in teaching and academic research. DJCAD offers programmes in animation, fine art, graphics design and films, as well as some less common programmes such as interactive media and jewellery design. Alumni include Turner Prize winner Susan Philipsz who took home a Turner Prize in 2010.

BArch Course Leader & Admissions Tutor Carol Robertson from Architecture will attend the event. She will be happy to meet with students and parents individually to answer questions related to University of Dundee and related academic disciplines in terms of course content, career prospects and more! The event is suitable for students interested in Architecture in University of Dundee.

Students with their portfolio are welcome to meet with the academic for portfolio assessment, or obtain advices on their portfolio development. Students will be admitted on the spot if their portfolio is able to fulfill entry requirement.
