University of Buckingham

University of Buckingham is a British university in Milton Keynes and a pioneering one which has introduced two-year undergraduate degrees over 40 years ago! With shorter holidays, two-year degrees by University of Buckingham provides 40 teaching weeks per year (compared to about 30 weeks in conventional British universities), enabling students to complete a full undergraduate curriculum faster and thus enjoy a saving of one year of tuition and living expenses.

With start dates in January and September, University of Buckingham offers undergraduate programmes in Law, Business, Computing, Education, Psychology and more. In 2015, the University became the first private, non-profit university to set up a medical school. The Medical School offers medical degrees that complete in 4.5 years (teaching starts in January), in partnership with Milton Keynes Hospital under the NHS Trust. Notable alumni include numerous British politicians including Brandon Lewis (Party leader of the Converstative Party), as well as Pravind Jugnauth (Prime Minister of Mauritius).
