The seaside resort Brighton in the South of England is now more than a famous tourist destination, but also an important cluster of the creative industries near London. The University of Brighton has long enjoyed a reputation in Art and Design – best-known for its Architecture, Graphic Design and Fashion Design – and has been constantly regarded as one of the top 50 fashion schools in the world by popular fashion website Fashionista. In Allied Health subjects, University of Brighton offers Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography and Podiatry. For applied sciences like Pharmacy and Biomedical Science, there is a “guaranteed” interview scheme for Medicine where students are guaranteed an interview with Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS) upon fulfilling certain criteria in their undergraduate studies.
