Senior Lecturer Dr. Claire Williams from Department of Psychology, Swansea University will attend the information & interview session to meet with students and their parents, who are interested in the discipline of Psychology. She will be able to answer questions related to Psychology and the University in general.

Located in the coastal area of South Wales, Swansea University is ranked the 43^rd in the UK and home to an outstanding engineering school. The School is ranked Top 5 in Materials Technology and Top 20 in other areas of engineering such as Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Swansea has very close links with the industry, collaborating with corporate such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, the Ministry of Defence, IBM and more! These collaborations have allowed academics and students of Swansea to be involved in the design of aircraft wings and material engineering of the Airbus A380 as well as the development of Thrust, the world’s fastest car! Many stimulation systems currently in use in the field of engineering are originated from Swansea. In the latest research assessment exercise (REF 2014), 94% of researches in engineering were rated as “World Leading” and “Internationally Excellent” – a result comparable to traditional engineering schools such as UCL and Bristol!
