Stonar School is a boarding school with almost 130 years of history, occupying an 80-acre campus in Wiltshire. Originally a girls’ school, Stonar School started accepting male students in 2016 and would gradually become fully co-educational. Currently there are about 430 students, in which about 15% are international students. Stonar School is among the top 15% of schools in the UK in terms of value-addedness, according to studies powered by University of Durham, which means many students have made significant progress after joining Stonar School.
Horse riding has a long tradition in Stonar School, which is itself a British Horse Society (BHS) approved Equestrian Centre. Students in Stonar School have the opportunities to complete a BHS Assistant Instructor qualification. Every year students compete at national and international competitions.
