Shrewsbury School is a boarding school with over 460 years of history, situated in the West of England. It’s one of the first nine public schools in the UK and was originally a boys’ school, which first admitted girls in 2008 and has now become fully co-educational. It currently educates about 820 students, of which about 400 are sixth-formers (Year 12-13). Performance in public exams has been outstanding. In the five years before the pandemic (2015-2019) A*-B rates of GCE A-levels were between 68% to 86% and it’s maintained at 81% in 2022.

Shrewsbury School mainly accepts boarding students into the year groups listed below. Applicants are required to complete their registrations before the deadline. Eligible applicants will be invited to sit an entrance exam and an admission interview.
