Established in 1841, Shebbear College is a small-scale boarding school in the South-West of England. There are about 350 students in the School and about 15% of them are boarding students. Tuition fees are comparatively economical among independent schools. Students are allowed to stay in their boarding houses during half-terms. Performance in public exams is stable, with 47% to 61% of students gaining A*-B in GCE A-levels in the five years before the pandemic (2015-2019).
