Established in 1841, Shebbear College is a small-scale boarding school in the South-West of England. There are about 350 students in the School and about 10% to 15% of them are boarding students. Tuition fees are comparatively economical among independent schools. Students are allowed to stay in their boarding houses during half-terms.
Leavers’ destinations are surprisingly impressive – in the past three cohorts (2023-2025) there were at least three Medicine and Veterinary Medicine students, as well as a good number of students progressing to performing arts school and arts universities, including Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Falmouth University and BIMM University, studying Theatre & Performance, Technical Theatre & Stage Management, Popular Music Performance and many other subjects!
