Scarborough College

Scarborough College is a boarding school located in the coastal town of Scarborough in Yorkshire. By today’s standard, boarding fees are relatively economical. Currently there are about 550 students in Scarborough College, in which about 400 are in the senior school and the majority of them come from local families in the region. Scarborough College teaches GCSE, and then the IB diploma in sixth form. The class of 2024 achieved an average IB score of 33. The highest achieving three students achieved 42-44 points, with two of them progressing to UCL and University of Cambridge. Apart from that, two more graduates were successful with their application to medical schools!

In performing arts, Scarborough College also runs a full LAMDA programme (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art), which is a good option for students with a passion in drama and performing arts. With the completion of development plan of the boarding houses in 2018 and 2019, students will enjoy much improved boarding provision, in a beautiful coastal town facing the North Sea!
