Collyer’s Sixth Form College

Collyer’s Sixth Form College ^{(formerly known as The College of Richard Collyer)} is ranked the 15^th by GCE A-levels results among state sixth form colleges in the UK (Sunday Times 2024). Its long history can be traced back to 1540. The College now mainly offers GCE A-levels programmes with options of more than 40 subjects. In 2023, overall A*-B rate was at 61%. According to the College’s statistics, typically about 90% of graduates from Collyer’s Sixth Form College can progress to their first-choice universities, with 32% making it to Russell Group universities. Many of these graduates continued to do well in university – 37.9% of students who completed their university studies in 2022 graduated with first-class honours! In the years before the pandemic, the College would visit Hong Kong every year, during which they’d also meet with parents of existing students, helping parents keep track of the latest progress of their sons and daughters.
