Prior’s Field School is a girls’ school in the south of England, founded in 1902 by Julia Huxley – members of the Huxley Family include Julian Huxley (the first Director of UNESCO and a founder member of the World Wildlife Fund), Nobel laureate Andrew Huxley, etc.

Prior’s Field School is known for its academic excellence and is also notable for its provision in tennis coaching and the performing arts. In the past five years (2015-2019), A*-B rates in GCE A-levels ranged from 59% to 76%. The Tennis Academy in Prior’s Field School provides training at beginner’s to elite level. For the performing arts, students in Prior’s Field School can work towards LAMDA and RADA certificates. A good number of notable British actresses – such as Lily James (lead actress in the Disney film Cinderella) and Victoria Hamilton (played the role of Queen Mother in the Netflix series the Crown) – are graduates of Prior’s Field School.
