Padworth College is an international boarding school located in rural area near the city of Reading, about 45 minutes away from London Heathrow airport. Occupying a grade-II listed building, it now teaches students from 30 different countries and regions. Padworth College was founded in 1963 by Oxford university tutors, with the aim to bring tutorial teaching to school-level education. Today Padworth College remains true to its founding principles, providing small class sizes and weekly meetings with personal tutors to help students with the difficulties they face in their academic and everyday life. In addition to standard British curriculum, Padworth College also runs a 1-Year GCSE programmes which is a good bridging course for F.4 students from Hong Kong. Students on the 1-Year GCSE programmes will be able to take up to six subjects, from English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Art & Design, Business Studies and more.
