Hulme Grammar School is an “all-through” independent day school in the town of Oldham in the Greater Manchester area, which is just 30 minutes away from central Manchester. Year 7 is the key entry point in senior school, where the vast majority of students would stay until they complete their secondary education. Hulme Grammar School has only started recruiting internationally since the introduction of the BN(O) visa. Currently there are only a small number of international students, but it’s providing excellent EFL (English as a Foreign Language) support – often a rarity in independent day schools! Campus facilities include a new £500,000 Science Centre, which is opened by notable alumnus Dr David Nott OBE in 2017.
