Nottingham Trent University is a post-1992 university located in the vibrant Midlands city of Nottingham. Today the University is one of the UK’s largest and most popular institutions and is home to students and staff from over 160 countries. In the past few years, the University has very successfully improved graduate employability by emphasizing work experience opportunities and is now in the UK’s top ten for the number of students undertaking year-long work placements.
After originally being established as the Nottingham Government School of Design in 1843, Nottingham Trent University is famous for it’s Art & Design programmes and offers an extensive portfolio of courses in this field. In addition to popular Art & Design courses such as Architecture, Fashion Design, Illustration and Animation, you will also find specialist programmes normally only offered by in large-scale art schools. These include Costume Design & Construction, Design for Film & Television, Fashion Knitwear & Knitted Textiles, Furniture & Product Design and more.
