A World’s Top 10 Architecture School: Manchester School of Architecture

Manchester School of Architecture (jointly administered by MMU and University of Manchester) is a world-famous architecture school with star alumni such as prolific architect Norman Foster, as well as Roland Paoletti, chief architect who oversaw the early construction of Hong Kong’s MTR network. Manchester School of Architecture has been named one of the top 10 architecture schools in the world for three consecutive years by QS World University Ranking (2016-2018).

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy:
Head of Physical Therapies of Manchester United as part of Teaching Team

With a minimum of 1000 hours of placement, the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is a HCPC and CSP-accredited qualification, which means that graduates are eligible to register as a UK physiotherapist after graduation. The qualification is also included in the Quotable Qualifications list of the Physiotherapists Board Hong Kong, and graduates are eligible to register as a physiotherapist in Hong Kong, after they became a UK-registered physiotherapist.

In addition to medical institutions, many of football clubs, performing arts groups and schools in the UK hire their own physiotherapists, which means that job opportunities come in very diverse forms and 99% of graduates from BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy are employed in professional positions! Alongside his teaching role, Professor Michael Callaghan from the department is also Head of Physical Therapies in Manchester United – a good demonstration of the diverse job opportunities for physiotherapists in the UK!
