Manchester College

Formed by a merger of two large-scale state colleges – City College Manchester and Manchester College of Arts and Technology – in 2008, the Manchester College is now the largest state college in the UK. The College has multiple campuses in the city of Manchester with its main campus in an advantageous location in the city centre, where more than 600 vocational training, further and higher education porgrammes were run. GCE AL
Students choose 3-4 subjects from 29 subject options provided, which cover business, sciences, art & design, languages, humanities, social sciences, information technology and physical education. International students will receive up to 5 hours of English tuition per week, as an extra support to their learning. In the past, 100% international students progressed to higher education.

University Foundation and Degrees
Manchester College runs a well-received university foundation that has helped students progress to highly competitive disciplines such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy as well as business, performing arts, fashion and design. The College also offers higher national diploma and off-campus degree programmes, providing options for students who would like to finish their degrees outside of universities.
