Leweston School Sherborne

Leweston School Sherborne is a more affordable boarding school with over 100 years of history, which is also at the top 5% in terms of value-addedness, meaning that students usually show significant progress after joining Leweston School. Following the “Diamond Model”, students in Leweston School are taught in co-educational classes from Year 4-8. Boys and girls will be taught in separate classes from Year 9 to 11, before moving into co-educational classes again in sixth form.

Leweston School is one of the only three Pentathlon GB training centres in schools and university in the UK – the other two being University of Bath and Millfield School – where students can enjoy training from beginner’s to professional level for in the five sports covered in the Modern Pentathlon games – fencing, freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting and cross country running! Currently three Leweston School students represent the UK in international Modern Pentathlon competitions, with two of them bringing home multiple medals.
