Situated in the scenic countryside of West Sussex and near the coastal city of Brighton, Lancing College is a prestigious boarding school in the South of England known for its high academic standards and excellence in sports. The school occupies a vast 550-acre campus, which includes its own equestrian centre and working farm. Its iconic Gothic chapel, Lancing Chapel, is a landmark that attracts thousands of visitors annually! Every year there are around 140 graduates in Lancing College. In 2026, the overall A*-A rate in A-levels was at 54%, with 33 students achieving straight A*-A results and three students progressing to Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. From the past four cohorts (2023-2026), there were at least 13 graduates making it to Medicine and Veterinary Medicine!
In recent years, Lancing College has expanded and established new junior day schools in nearby Hove and Worthing, which could be particular noteworthy to BN(O) families in the area. Notable alumni include Sinclair Beecham (co-founder of Pret a Manger), as well as Raymond Kwok (Chairman of Sun Hung Kai Properties).
