Kirkham Grammar School is an “all-through” day and boarding school with over 470 years of history and a 40-acre campus in the Lancashire town of Kirkham, which is near cities like Blackpool and Preston, and just about an hour away from Manchester. As one of the few more affordable boarding schools nowadays, there are currently over 700 students in Kirkham Grammar School, which provides boarding from Year 7. Known for its sporting success, the School is also national champions for rugby and tennis! In terms of public exam results, the overall A*-B rates in A-levels were between 47% to 64% in 2022 and 2023. The class of 2023 saw over 90% of graduates progressing to Russell Group universities, including one Medicine student in University of Cambridge! The class of 2024 saw at least two Medicine students, who will continue their education in Hull York Medical School and University of Manchester.
