Kingswood School: Registration Deadline for Year 9

Located in the historic city of Bath, Kingswood School is a top “all-through” day and boarding school that provides boarding from Year 7. Teaching quality and academic results are consistently outstanding, while the range of co-curricular activities on offer is exceptional! Currently there are over 1300 students in Kingswood School, making it one of the few boarding schools of such a scale. In the past two years (2024-2025), the overall A*-B rates in A-levels were between 78% to 81%, putting it firmly among the top 100-150 independent schools in the UK. The class of 2024 saw four successful Oxbridge students, as well as four Medicine and one Vet Medicine students. Other popular university destinations include University of Exeter, Cardiff University, University of Leeds, University of Manchester and other Russell Group universities. A strict nationality policy applies, so there are only a limited number of places for Hong Kong and Chinese students – early application is highly recommended!

Application & Exam Arrangement

At secondary education stage, Kingswood School mainly accepts boarding students into the year groups listed below. Applicants are required to complete their registrations before the deadlines, in accordance to their year groups. Eligible applicants will be invited to sit an entrance exam and an admission interview.

• Year 7: 17/10 (Friday)
• Year 9: 9/1 (Friday)
• Year 12: 17/10 (Friday)
