King’s School Rochester is a boarding school in the riverside town of Rochester in Kent, which is just one hour away from London. Founded in 604, it’s the second oldest school in England and is the oldest Cathedral School in the world. Its chapel choir is well-known and has performed in Spain, Italy, Germany and many other places. Today the School educates about 470 students, including about 50 boarders. In 2023, the overall A*-A rate in GCE A-levels was close to 25%. University of East Anglia, Durham University and Loughborough University are the most popular destinations for the class of 2023, with 3-4 students progressing onto each of them.
