King’s School Bruton is a traditional boarding school in Somerset, over 500 years of history and a strong boarding tradition. Sport and music education are integral to a King’s Bruton education. Its well-equipped music department is housed in the Queen Elizabeth Music School opened by the Queen in 2019. In additional to classical music, students at King’s Bruton have opportunities to learn about contemporary music technology. Every year a few graduates would go on to study classical music or contemporary music production in university, with a few graduates making it to the flagship Tonmeister® degree in University of Surrey, embarking on a professional journey as a top-notch recording engineer! As for sports, the main ones played in King’s Bruton include Rugby, Hockey, Cricket and Tennis, with students competing at international competitions in Athletics, Skiing, Gymnastics and Fencing!
