Set in a 100-acre campus in the county of Oxfordshire, Kingham Hill School is a boarding school with over 130 years of history, which also becomes part of Dean Close Foundation starting from the 2025/26 academic year. Kingham Hill School one of the few boarding schools that provide the British and the American education system alongside each other. As a result, about 50% of boarders in Kingham Hill School are local British students, followed by students from the USA and Germany. A strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning is demonstrated through its extensive range of extracurricular activities, which include many exciting and less common options such as scuba diving, calligraphy, go-karting, sailing and many more! Students can even volunteer in the school farm and help take care of the animals there (including alpacas, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, cats and a dog) and study a BTEC in animal management in sixth form.
The overall A*-B rate in A-levels was at 79% in 2025. In terms of university destinations, in the past four years (2021-2024) the more popular universities included University of Exeter, University of Leeds, University of Nottingham, University of York and the like. There were also two high-achieving graduates who made it to University of Oxford and the Medicine programme in Newcastle University.
