Harrogate Ladies’ College is girls’ boarding school in residential area of Harrogate, Yorkshire. The School’s 22-acre campus is within 5-minute walking distance from the town centre. In terms of public exam performance, the overall A*-B rate in GCE A-levels was at 68% in 2023. The majority of graduates continue their education at Russell Group universities. University College London, Durham, Warwick, Edinburgh, Exeter and Manchester are all popular university choices, reflecting a good high academic standard.
Graduates from Harrogate Ladies’ College have had tremendous success in their own industries – they include alumna Laura Winwood who has a master’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Oxford and is now working at Moody’s Corporate. Another example is Dr Sarah Thompson, who now heads the Department of Physics in University of York and was awarded a MBE in 2013 for her contribution to sciences!

One-Year GCSE
Students can join Harrogate Ladies’ College at F.5, by joining the one-year GCSE programmes. Unlike the one-year GCSE programmes in other boarding schools, international students are fully integrated with British students (except in English classes) at Harrogate Ladies’ College to facilitate faster transition.
