Exeter College is a state college in the city of Exeter, south west of England, that comes with an hall of residence. It’s also one of the few state colleges that offer both GCE A-levels and International Baccalaureate (IB). In vocational education, Exeter College has provision from National Diploma to Higher National Diploma, as well as top-up degrees awarded by University of Exeter, Plymouth University and other British universities. Matt Bellamy, lead singer of British rock band Muse, is also a graduate of Exeter College!

As state colleges operate with government funding, they are usually restricted from being too selective when setting their entry requirement, to make sure the education needs of local students of different abilities and from different background are well taken care of. In 2018, students from Exeter College achieved an A*-B rate of 61% in GCE A-levels. The IB class performed even better, with an average score of 35 and 22% of the class achieving 40 points or above!
