Dauntsey’s School: Registration Deadline for Year 7

Dauntsey’s School has a long history of teaching and excellent academic results, which makes the School popular among Hong Kong elite school students, including Hong Kong singer Eason Chan! In Dauntsey’s School, students are provided with a wide variety of adventurous pursuits and are encouraged to develop a strong spirit of adventure. These activities include sailing on board the ‘Jolie Brise’, a sailing ship with over 100 years of history owned by Dauntsey’s School, as well as overseas expeditions which have in the past brought teachers and students to destinations such as Scotland, Morocco, India, Romania and many others. In terms of academic results, the overall A*-B rate in A-levels was at 75% in 2025, with 28 students achieving AAA or better grades and the most popular university destinations including Newcastle, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Manchester and Oxford Brookes.

Application & Exam Arrangement

Dauntsey’s School mainly accepts boarding students into the year groups listed below. Applicants are required to complete their registrations before the deadlines, in accordance to their year groups. Eligible applicants will be invited to sit an entrance exam and an admission interview.

• Year 7: 13/10 (Monday)
• Year 9: Applications are now closed for 2026/27. Students interested in enrolling for 2027/28 should complete their registrations by 1/1 (Thursday), 2026
• Year 12: 17/10 (Friday)
