Founded in 1862, Clifton College is a well-known all-through boarding school, set in Bristol’s suburbs, south-western England. The campus has kept the nineteenth century Victorian architecture style, where the school chapel and library are Grade II listed buildings. A few movies were filmed on-campus in the past. Our consultant who visited Clifton College described it as being like a Harry Potter film set. There are approximately 700 students in the senior school and 50% of them are boarders. Academic and Sports are Clifton’s strengths. In the past two years (2022-2023), the overall A*-B rates in GCE A-levels were between 76% to 80%. The rugby team and girls’ hockey team have nurtured numerous England and Welsh national team players. Competition for places in the senior school is fierce, which normally become fully subscribed in September and October every year. Applicants should apply one to two years in advance to avoid disappointment.
