City of London Freemen’s School is a boarding school run by the City of London Corporation. With excellent track records of academic results, the School is a popular choice among local families. In the past two years (2023-2024), the overall A*-B rates in A-levels were between 86% to 92%. In 2023, nine graduates were successful with their applications to medical schools and other medical-related subjects, while two graduates made it to University of Oxford and University of Cambridge! Other typical university destinations inlcude Bath, Nottingham, Birmingham, Southampton, Warwick and alike. Notable alumni include British actor Andrew Garfield (known for his role playing Spider-Man) and Joe Strummer (front-man of the British band the Clash). Currently over 90% of students in City of London Freemen’s School are local day students and boarding places for international students are very limited. Students are therefore recommended to apply one year in advance.

City of London Freemen’s School mainly accepts boarding students into the year groups listed below. Applicants are required to complete their registrations before the deadline. Eligible applicants will be invited to sit an entrance exam and an admission interview.
