Cheltenham College is an all-through boarding school in the South West of England, reputable for its excellent academic results. The College is very popular among local families in the region. Of the 750 students in the senior school, close to 80% are boarders coming from local families and other parts of the world, and about one third of students progressed from Cheltenham College prep school. The College is highly rated in the latest inspection report (ISI) and is awarded the highest “Excellent” rating in all nine areas of inspections, including quality of teaching, boarding provision and administration. Public exam results have been consistently outstanding, with an GCE A-levels A*-B rate of 81% in 2025, putting the College among the top 100-150 independent schools in the UK.
