With 70 years of history, CATS College is a boarding school and independent sixth form college group with campuses in Cambridge, Canterbury and London, mainly providing GCSE, A-levels, International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and University Foundation, as well as specialist Medic Prorgammes tailored for high-achieving students aiming for medical schools. Since its establishment, each campus has developed its own strengths and character. And starting from the 2022/23 academic year, CATS College will be restructured, allowing each school to further develop their strengths with their own brand.

Located in the cathedral city of Canterbury in south east England, Worthgate School (formerly known as CATS Canterbury) is the oldest within the group and the first educational provider to pioneer University Foundation programmes. First introduced in 1985, its University Foundation is now recognized by more than 90 universities in the UK, including University of Bath, University of Bristol, Durham University, University of Exeter and University of Manchester! With courses from Year 9 to 13, Worthgate School runs A-levels, International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and University Foundation in sixth form, providing the widest options for students.
With its advantageous location in London’s Bloomsbury Square (Zone 1), Guildhouse School (formerly known as CATS London) teaches students from over 40 countries and regions and is the most international school in the group. It’s also Europe’s first school to intoduce the Bloomberg Terminal, making it an excellent option for students who would like to study Finance and Business in university. Students predominately study A-levels and University Foundation, but there is also the option of Pre A-levels (Year 11) which is suitable for F.4 students from Hong Kong.
The largest school within the group, CATS Cambridge is home to close to 500 students. Opened in 2015, its new, self-contained campus in residential area of the city of Cambridge comes with over 400 single en-suite rooms, providing high quality teaching facilities and accommodation. Courses start from Year 10, with the option of A-levels and University Foundation in sixth form. After the restructuring, entry into CATS Cambridge will become more selective and there will be a stronger emphasis on STEM subjects, making it the best option for students interested in sciences and medical-related subjects!
