Cardiff Sixth Form College is a top independent sixth form college with a main campus in Cardiff – the capital of Wales – and a new campus in Cambridge which is established in the 2022/23 academic year. It has been the top school in the UK for A-level results over the past 12 years, occupying the no. 1 spot in league tables for 11 times during the period. Every year about 25% of graduates would progress to University of Oxford, Cambridge or medical schools!
2023 is no exception, in which the College saw 95% of exam entries graded at A*-A and 100% at A*-B. Of 155 students in the class of 2023, 44 graduates gained entry into medical schools, studying Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. Three graduates continued their education in Oxford and Cambridge University, while 57 made it to UCL, LSE and Imperial College and 21 were admitted by University of Hong Kong (including eight Medicine & Dentistry students) and Chinese University of Hong Kong (including six Medicine students). Applicants should be made aware that Cardiff Sixth Form College maintains a high standard for progression to Year 13 (A2).

In the Admissions Talk, Henrietta Lightwood (Group International Director Marketing & Admissions) will provide an overview of Cardiff Sixth Form College with a presentation, explaining the College’s consistent successes in public exams and university applications. In addition to these, Henrietta will also share the latest developments in Cardiff Sixth Form College in 2024/25 academic year, including updates from the Cambridge campus!
Students and parents will be able to meet individually with Henrietta Lightwood (Group International Director Marketing & Admissions) from Cardiff Sixth Form College after the Talk, to discuss their suitability and for admission interviews. Translation can be provided for parents when necessary.
