Bedford School is one of the few large-scale all-through boarding schools in the UK. Its preparatory school and senior school now educate over a thousand students. The School is also one of the few schools that offer both GCE A-levels and IB in sixth form, with outstanding results. Every year the School sees a number of students making it to University of Oxford and Cambridge. Such reputation has made Bedford School the first choice of many from Hong Kong’s top schools. In the past five years (2014-2018), A*-B rates in GCE A-levels are from 70% to 82% and is ranked one of the top 100 to 200 independent schools in the UK. Average score of the IB class of 2018 is 34.9.
Bedford School is the only school that has its own observatory and planetarium – a unique option for students with an interest in physics and astronomy.
