Aston University, Birmingham is reputable for Business, Technology, Building & Surverying, Pharmacy and Medical-Related subjects. It’s one of the few universities that offer Audiology and Optometry. In 2018/19, the University saw the opening of its Medical School, further enhancing its provision in the area of medicine and allied professions. The University believes that work placement is key to improve graduates’ employability. Today all courses in Aston University come with a placement year or a placement module, allowing students to spend weeks or up to a year in paid work placement.
