Fantastic drawing skill isn’t an essential entry criterion to every art & design disciplines. But no matter what art & design discipline you will go on studying, good drawing skills usually benefits your creative process in one way or the other, especially in initial stages of your creative process, when you’re doing sketching and storyboarding! Learning to draw can also train your observation. Have you even wondered why people with art & design background usually spend longer time looking at a painting, with some even spending an hour? That’s thanks to heightened observation!
