University Pathway Programmes (Foundation & International Diploma) are one-year programmes that allow students to progress onto year 1 and year 2 of an undergraduate programme in the UK. Many of these programmes are taught in dedicated teaching centres within university campuses and provide “guaranteed progression” to an undergraduate degree upon achieving the required grades in internal exams and coursework assessment.

Set in the creative city of Bristol, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) was formerly a polytechnic which was granted full university status in 1992. Employability remains as the heart of UWE Bristol’s education.
