University Pathway Programmes (Foundation & International Year One) are one-year programmes that allow students to progress onto year 1 and year 2 of an undergraduate programme in the UK. Many of these programmes are taught in dedicated teaching centres within university campuses and provide “guaranteed progression” to an undergraduate degree upon achieving the required grades in internal exams and coursework assessment.

University of Dundee is ranked among the top 15 in many academic disciplines, including Art & Design, Biological Sciences, Dentistry, Medical-related Subjects, Medicine and many more! While undergraduate degrees are usually four years long under the Scottish education system, many programmes in University of Dundee allow advanced entry into Year 2, if students get good enough grades. In addition to that, University of Dundee also offers 3-year degrees for Art & Design, Law, Nursing, as well as a 5-year master’s in Architecture (ie. combining a 3-year undergraduate and a 2-year postgraduate degree in Architecture).

In Biomedical Science, University of Dundee runs an undergraduate degree in collaboration with National University of Singapore (NUS), in which students can spend up to 18 months studying in NUS – which is itself one of Asia’s finest universities!

Ranked the 52nd in the UK, University of Kent enjoys a 300-acre campus in the historic city of Canterbury in the south east of England, which is just an hour away from London on a train. One of the few collegiate universities in the UK, students in University of Kent are attached to one of its six colleges, enjoying a more vibrant social life. In terms of academic subjects, University of Kent is highly rated by the Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021) for Architecture, Law, Philosophy, Drama & Performing Arts, Film Studies and a few more subjects. Apart from these, Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Teacher Training, Cultural Studies programmes are all strong areas. Recent developments include a new medical school in collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church University, which opened in 2020/21. As one of the few teacher training programmes at undergraduate level, the BSc (Hons) Mathematics with Secondary Education (QTS) in University of Kent allows students to graduate with qualified teacher status (QTS).
