University of Southampton International Foundation Seminar

University of Southampton is ranked the 73^th globally (QS) and the 18^th in the UK. It’s a famous research-focused university in the South. Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences and Music are all top 10 in the UK. Researches in Computer Sciences have been exceptionally impressive, with 85% of researches being rated “World Leading” and “Internationally Excellent”, sharing the 2^nd in the UK with Imperial College. Notable alumni include world-renowned musician Brian Eno as well as Grenville Cross the former Director of Public Prosecutions of Hong Kong.

With the new dedicated foundation porgamme ran at Itchen Sixth-Form College, students can now progress on to Year 1 of science degrees in University of Southampton after a year in the College.

In the Seminar, Bryony Sharpen, representative from Itchen Sixth-Form College, will introduce the foundation programme detailing on entry requirement, course structure as well as the progression routes. The foundation programme accepts applications from HKDSE graduates. F.5 students and their parents are also welcome to the seminar.
