
【📣 Deadline Now Extended to 7/5 (Wednesday)】British Council × University of Bristol “Scholarships for Women 2025″ Fully-funded Scholarships
Created by British Council and supported by Sir Tang Shiu Kin Education Trust, the 2nd cohort of “Scholarships for Women” will fully sponsor four women from Hong Kong, to pursue a master’s degree in University of Bristol in the 2025/26 academic year!
This year, the “Scholarships for Women” scholarships programme will cover the following postgraduate programmes in University of Bristol:
- MSc Accounting & Finance Typically open to graduates from Accounting & Finance only
- MSc Business Analytics Open to graduates from Operational Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Biomedical and Life Sciences
- MSc East Asian Development & the Global Economy Open to graduates from any academic disciplines
- MSc Economics Open to graduates from Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science or Physics
- MSc Economics with Data Science Open to graduates from quantitative-based subjects like Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or Physics
- MSc Education (Leadership & Policy) Designed for professionals with some experience in education as a teacher, administrator, university lecturer, or early-years practitioner
- MSc Finance & Investment Primarily open to graduates from Finance, Economics, Computing, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
- MSc Financial Technology Primarily open to graduates from Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or Physics
- MSc Gender & International Relations Open to graduates from any academic disciplines
- MSc International Relations Open to graduates from any academic disciplines
- MSc International Security Open to graduates from any academic disciplines
- LLM Law – Health, Law & Society Primarily open to law graduates, as well as non-law graduates from related disciplines like History, Philosophy, Policy Studies, Politics or Sociology. Graduates with a Health Care or Health Science (such as Medicine and Nursing) background will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- LLM Law, Environment, Sustainability & Business Primarily open to law graduates, as well as non-law graduates from related disciplines like Politics & International Relations, Economics, Business, Human Geography, Sociology or Anthropology
- LLM Law, Innovation & Technology Primarily open to law graduates, as well as non-law graduates from related disciplines like Computer Science, Data Science, Management, Economics, Philosophy or Policy Studies
- MSc Society, Politics & Climate Change Open to graduates from any academic disciplines
What will be covered by the Scholarship?
The “Scholarships for Women” scholarships programme covers the full costs associated with your study, including:
- Full tuition fees
- Up to 12-month monthly stipend at the rate of £1,603 per month to cover costs of living, including accommodation
- IELTS exam fee
- Return economy class travel from Hong Kong to UK
- Study-related costs, such as essential travel, materials, equipment and thesis printing
- Student visa, and insurance / NHS surcharge
- Reasonable adjustments costs for scholars with disabilities
Students will promise to return to Hong Kong for a minimum of two years after their scholarship has ended – to make an impact in Hong Kong with what you’ve learned and experienced in this special year in the UK!
Application & Deadline
Deadline of applications for the Scholarships has been extended to Wednesday 7th May 2025. Students are required to submit their course application, their scholarship application and other required documents by the deadline.
