英國大專及預科書院
UK Further Education & Sixth Form College
大專院校分政府大專及私立大專兩大類別，兩者均為學生準備升讀大學或就業為目的。
大專的學習模式與大學較為相似，給予學生的自由度較大。例如，大專不會設立固定上學、放學時間，學生只須於指定時間出席課堂，課餘時間可作自由活動，毋須參與學校指定的課外活動，沒有寄宿學校的管束，亦毋須穿著校服。所以，在大專讀書較需要學生事事自動自覺，好好利用的話能訓練學生獨立能力及自發性，升讀大學時更易適應！
