世界排名 202（QS 2022），英國排名 34，University of Reading 商學院（Henley Business School）於歐洲最佳商學院排名第 38 位（FT 2020），並設有與四大會計師事務所 PwC 合辦的會計系課程。課程的收生要求嚴格，但成功入讀課程的學生將可獲保證於 PwC 實習，畢業成績良好（獲 2:1 或以上）並在實習期間有出色表現的學生更有大機會獲 PwC 聘用！除直接報讀學位課程外，學生亦可透過修讀大學預備班（University Foundation）銜接這個與 PwC 合辦的會計系課程，十分值得有志成為會計師，尤其是希望於畢業後嘗試在英國工作的學生考慮。

大學另於建造工程與測量系、電影系、設計及傳意、氣象學有良好聲譽。University of Reading 是首間教授字體設計（Typography）和電影研究（Film Studies）的英國大學，字體設計（Typography）碩士課程更視為全球最佳的字體設計課程之一，當代多款常見的字體都出自 University of Reading 畢業生的手筆，如 Calibri（由 Luc(as) de Groot 設計）和 Comic Sans（由 Vincent Connare 設計）等。
