世界排名 195（QS 2019），英國排名 32，商學院（Henley Business School）於歐洲最佳商學院排名第 37 位，另於建造工程與測量系、電影及設計系、氣象學有良好聲譽。University of Reading 不但是首間教授「電影研究（Film Studies）」的英國大學，而且是少數將電影和劇場（Theatre）兩個發展脈絡息息相關的媒介同時修讀的大學；相關的課程理論和實踐並重，課程結構亦具彈性，學生可隨興趣的發展調節學習方向。
