英國大學及學系排名
泰晤士報（Times）的英國大學排名，是不少學生和家長的重要選校參考。排名以學生滿意度、學術研究水平、收生水平、學生與教職員比例及畢業生前景等幾方面評定各所英國大學的優劣。2015 年度的英國大學排名裡，以下幾點特別值得學生及家長留意：
- 劍橋大學及牛津大學並列整體排名首位。
- 最佳 10 位大學與去年相同，只在名次上稍有改變。
- 在最佳 30 位大學中，現時已有超過 20 所可透過大學預備班（University Foundation）銜接。不少更設有「保證銜接」機制，升學率達 80% 至 90% 之高。
- Falmouth University（51）、De Montfort University（54）及 University for Creative Arts（74）為本年度排名升幅最高的三所大學，名次分別較去年進步 26、32 及 25 位。三所大學均在學生滿意度及收生水平上有所進步，Falmouth 及 De Montfort 在畢業生前景的進步顯著，而 University for Creative Arts 則大幅改善了學生與教職員比例，令其成為數所藝術大學中學生與教職員比例最低的一所。
- 動物科學（Animal Science）、創意寫作（Creative Writing）設獨立學系排名，更能反映大學在個別範疇的優勢。

學系排名的重要性
由於整體排名以英國大學所有科目的整體表現為根據，有時候未必反映部份大學在個別學科上的優勢。部份大學或在個別範疇上有領先地位，卻不一定在整體大學排名中擁有較前位置。對於已經確定心儀科目的學生，學系排名會更具參考價值。在新興學科（如酒店管理等）中，不少在整體大學排名裡排名較後的英國大學會佔較前位置，學生選校時宜多加注意。
