位於英格蘭西部創意城市 Bristol，University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) 前身是一所理工學院，在 1992 年正式「升格」成為大學，教學上一直秉承著以實用性為本的教學方針，與業界的合作緊密（合作機構包括 BBC、空中巴士等）。UWE Bristol 的學位課程涉及多達 38 個科目範疇，當中以測量學、建築、城市規劃、藝術及設計的表現較突出，物理治療、職業治療、護理、視光學等醫療相關學科均接受國際學生申請，動畫製作（Animation）在國際上的評價高，彼思動畫（PIXAR）的創作總監 Chris Ford 亦是大學的畢業生之一。
